Online Reports

Facility Mapper

The Facility Mapper generates a detailed map showing location of a hatchery, remote breeding site, or other enhancement facility. All release sites for the facility are also marked. Production numbers by species are displayed on the map.

Agency Report

The Agency Report lists recovered tags from a release state, agency, location (facility or wild stock name), or tag code of interest to you. This report is from a release group perspective. Use this report if you want to find where all tags from a particular tag code, hatchery or state were recovered. If you want to find what release groups contributed to a fishery you are interested in, use the Recoveries by Fishery Report.

Commercial Survey Site Report

The Commercial Survey Site Report lists details for each fish recovered at selected survey sites regardless of tag status. The commercial report includes some columns that are not relevant to heads recovered in other non-commercial fishery sampling programs, like escapement or hatchery rack. For sample sources other than Commercial, it would be best to use the Non-Commercial Survey Site Report.

Non-Commercial Survey Site Report

The Non-Commercial Survey Site Report lists details for each fish recovered at selected survey sites regardless of tag status. Although similar to the Commercial Survey Site Report this report doesn't include columns only relevant to commercial fisheries. Use this report if you want to find the status of all heads recovered at a hatchery you manage or a river you sampled.

Southeast Sport Report

The SE Sport Report lists all sport recoveries grouped by survey site. This report was written to meet SE Sport Fish inseason requirements.

Contribution Summary Report

The Contribution Summary Report lists the total contribution of each unique tag code by fishery and preferred expansion strata. Use this report whenever you want to know the total contribution from a particular state, agency, facility, release group, or release site to any or all sampled fisheries.

Commercial Expansion Harvest Report

The Commercial Expansion Harvest Report lists catch, sample and recovery statistics for fisheries you select. The strata used is: year|havest_code|species|gear_class|time_code|time_value|area_code|area_value. Where time_code is either P for fishing periods or W for statistical weeks. P is primarily relevant to troll fisheries where openings span more than one statistical week. Area_code is either: Q for quadrant (groups of districts), D for district or S for statarea.

Sport Expansion Report

The Sport Expansion Report lists catch, sample and recovery statistics for selected sport fisheries. The strata used in this report is probably most relevant to Southeast Alaska's sport fishery sampling programs. Strata used is: year|species|survey_site|[biweek or period]|sport_harvest_code.

Recoveries by Fishery Report

The Recoveries by Fishery Report provides information for all heads examined for the presence of a CWT. This report is from a fishery rather than a release group perspective. Use this report if you want to find the stock composition of a fishery you are interested in. If you want to find where fish from a particular hatchery or tag-code were recovered, use the Agency Report.

Tag Recovery Detail Report

This report lists information about randomly sampled salmon heads from which coded wire tags were successfully extracted and decoded with no ambiguity. It is primarily intended to support coho research.

CWT Release Report

The CWT Release Report lists information about coded wire tagged fish released coast wide since 1968. Alaskan tagging and release data are entered when forms are received at the CWT lab. Releases outside of Alaska are updated several times a year from PSMFC's database. Using this report you can look up release details about particular tag codes or you can select releases meeting a variety of criteria.

Hatchery Release Report

The Alaska Hatchery Release Report lists information about coded wire tag and Alaskan non-coded wire tag groups released since 1968. While you can get information about non-Alaskan coded wire tag groups from this report, it is primarily intended for Alaskan Hatchery production release summaries. This report does not include non-coded wire tagged releases from outside of Alaska or releases other than anadromous. Details for coded wire releases are somewhat reduced and we suggest that if you want more detail that you use the CWT Release Report Form. Using this report you can look up release details about particular hatcheries or you can select releases meeting a variety of criteria.

Number Sampled Report

The Number Sampled Report lists number of fish sampled and number of clips detected for survey sites, fisheries, or specific areas you select. It will not work for Southeast sport sampling or select and voluntary samples. Use this report to look up the number of fish sampled for specific fisheries or survey sites.
